More about the dentistry
Szakál Dental specialises in the treatment of Muslim patients, respecting all religious regulations.
We pay special attention to the religious rules of our patients from Arabic countries. Exceptional empathy, openness and attentiveness are compulsory when treating such patients. All foreigners arriving for dental tourism are provided with the best possible dental care from both a professional and financial point of view.
Over the last five years, Hungary has become Europe’s leading dental tourism destination.
Communities of different cultures living in Hungary visit Hungarian dentists with growing confidence because they know they will pay the agreed-upon price at the end – while at home, dental treatments may end up costing more due to supplementary costs.
Our dental services include the following state-of-the-art procedures:
• Digital panoramic X-ray
• Aesthetic fillings
• Teeth whitening
• Implants
• Ultrasonic tartar removal
• Root canal treatment and fillings
• Post and core
• Prosthetics (crowns, bridges, prostheses)
• Periodontology
The receptionists at SzakálDent pay close attention to strict religious regulations. We know that dental appointments are not recommended during certain religious festivals. If a patient requires urgent treatment during, for example, Ramadan, we are prepared for reactions due to altered eating habits, or anxiety from nicotine or caffeine withdrawal. These factors are taken into consideration.
We are flexible and respectful of religious practices, patients who pray five times a day, and those who must make appointments after sunset during fasting periods.
Treatment for our Muslim patients complies with religious instructions and rules. The main differences are: some patients may not have anaesthetics; may not be treated using instruments disinfected with alcohol; dental materials made of pork tissue (for example collagen membranes) may not be used.
Our dental clinic respects dress codes for Muslim women and allows a mahram (male family member) to be present during treatment. We try to arrange for dentists of the same gender to treat our patients. Our dentists do their work with complete respect for religious and cultural customs to ensure the most appropriate dental care for our Muslim patients. Our clinic has aesthetically pleasing, cutting-edge design to produce a simple, clear, harmonious and relaxing interior. Our modern equipment and state-of-the-art technology gives us the best tools for all kinds of dental treatments.
Should you decide to explore Hungary during the period of your dental treatments, the country’s 16th to 18th century Ottoman-era cultural and architectural monuments may be of particular interest to Muslim guests.
